Has anyone ever had a horse they rode or owned, go through an injury. Something that took maybe a month or years? I'd like to here your stories!

Recovery can be a LONG process but it can also be totally worth it to safe your best friend<3

Healing Story

My horse Mattie got two 2" deep cuts on her right hind leg this past summer and it was right before our championship show. Luckily she was sound enough to perform, but we were very worried she wouldn't get the chance. After the show was done we put her on some very good meds, but it took over two monthsfor it to fully heal. Even though it took a while it was totally worth it. :)
