I just purchased two miniature donkeys that were housed next to a donkey stud. We were told that there is no way that either of them are pregnant, but they are a little over-weight. One of them(Jessie) is looking a little too fat through the back of her stomach. She has never had a foal that we know of, but I can see her "udder". I cannot really touch her right now(but working on it)and we cannot have confirmation from a vet. I have never really done anything in the equine breeding business, so I don't really know how to tell if they are pregnant or not.
